  • Meta as Data Processor: We use Meta Platforms, Inc. infrastructure as a data processor to facilitate communications via WhatsApp.
  • Data Collected: Through WhatsApp, we specifically collect the patient's name, contact phone number, medical appointment data, conversation content, and messaging metadata necessary to manage scheduling.
  • Retention: WhatsApp conversation histories are retained for a period of 12 months. Medical appointment data is kept according to the applicable legal timeframes for health records (typically up to 5 years) or until you request its deletion.
  • Hosting and International Transfers: Data processed through medik may be hosted on cloud servers located in the United States of America. By using the service, you authorize this international transfer, which is carried out under strict security measures.
  • Limited Use of Data: Data obtained through WhatsApp Business is used exclusively for managing medical appointments and communicating with the patient. We do not use this information for advertising purposes, do not sell it to third parties, and do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.
  • Opting Out of Communications: You can stop receiving medik messages at any time by replying STOP in the WhatsApp conversation.
  • Data Deletion: You can request the deletion of your data at any time. See our Data Deletion Instructions for more details.

6. Minors

Our services, including medik, are intended for people over 18 years of age. When the patient being attended is a minor, the interaction via WhatsApp is always carried out through their parent or legal guardian, who grants consent for the processing of the minor's personal data. KREADU does not knowingly collect data from minors without such consent and will delete it upon detecting it was provided without this authorization.
